കോട്ടയം: ഒക്ടോബർ 11 ന് കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള നിലവിലെ *മഞ്ഞ അലെർട്ട്* (ശക്തമായ മഴ) *ഓറഞ്ച് അലെർട്ട്* ആയി (അതിശക്തമായ മഴ); കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടയിടങ്ങളിൽ അതിശക്തമായ മഴക്കുള്ള സാധ്യതയാണ് പ്രവചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. 24 മണിക്കൂറിൽ 115.6 mm മുതൽ 204.4 mm വരെ മഴ ലഭിക്കുമെന്നാണ് അതിശക്തമായ മഴ (Very Heavy Rainfall) എന്നത് കൊണ്ട് കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ് അർത്ഥമാക്കുന്നത്.
