തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാന സ്‌കൂള്‍ കായികമേള ഇനിമുതല്‍ സ്‌കൂള്‍ ഒളിമ്പിക്‌സ് ആയി നാല് വര്‍ഷത്തിലൊരിക്കല്‍ നടത്തുമെന്ന് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വി.ശിവന്‍കുട്ടി. ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ കായികമേള ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 18 മുതല്‍ 22 വരെ എറണാകുളത് വെച്ചായിരിക്കും നടക്കുക. സ്‌കൂള്‍ കലോത്സവം ഡിസംബറില്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നടക്കും. പുതുക്കിയ മാന്വല്‍ അനുസരിച്ചായിരിക്കും ഈ വര്‍ഷം കലോത്സവമെന്നും മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു.
ഇത്തവണ തദ്ദേശിയ ജനതയുടെ (ഗോത്ര ജനത) കലയും മത്സര ഇനമാകും.
