വയനാട് : കബനിയില്‍ ജലനിരപ്പ് ഉയരുന്നു. തീരപ്രദേശത്തുള്ളവര്‍ ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കാന്‍ നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കേരള അതിര്‍ത്തിയിലെ തോണി സര്‍വീസുകള്‍ നിര്‍ത്തിവെച്ചു. കബനിയിലെ ജലമെത്തുന്ന കര്‍ണാടകയിലെ ബീച്ചനഹള്ളി അണക്കെട്ടും നൂല്‍പ്പുഴ നുഗു അണക്കെട്ടും തുറന്നു. ഇതോടെ കബനിയില്‍ ശക്തമായ കുത്തൊഴുക്കുണ്ട്. കാലവര്‍ഷം ആരംഭിച്ചതോടെ 24 ടിഎംഐ ജലം കബനിയിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകിയെത്തി.
പെരിക്കല്ലൂര്‍ മുതല്‍ കൊളവള്ളിവരെയുള്ള തീരമേഖലകളില്‍ പ്രളയ ഭീഷണിയുണ്ട്.അപകടകരമായ ജലനിരപ്പും നീരൊഴുക്ക് ശക്തമാവുന്ന സാഹചര്യവും കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് പ്രദേശത്ത് നിന്ന് ആളുകളെ മാറ്റിപാര്‍പ്പിക്കാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.
