നിലമ്പൂരില്‍ വനപാലകര്‍ക്ക് നേരെ പാഞ്ഞടുത്ത് കാട്ടാന; ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് പരിക്ക്
അവശനിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ആനയെ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ യാണ് വനപാലകര്‍ക്ക് നേരെ
മലപ്പുറം : നിലമ്പൂര്‍ കവളപ്പാറയില്‍ അവശനിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയ ആനയെ നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ വനപാലകര്‍ക്ക് നേരെ തിരിയുകയായിരുന്നു. വനപാലകരും ഡോക്ടര്‍മാരും ചിതറി ഓടുന്നതിനിടെ വനംവകുപ്പ് വാച്ചര്‍ക്ക് വീണ് പരിക്കേറ്റു.
കാഞ്ഞിരപ്പുഴ സ്‌റ്റേഷനിലെ വാച്ചറായ തോമസിനാണ് പരിക്കേറ്റത്. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം ആറോടെയാണ് സംഭവം.ഇയാളുടെ കൈയുടെയും കാലിന്‍റെയും എല്ലുകള്‍ക്ക് പൊട്ടലുണ്ട്. അടിയന്തര ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയ്ക്കായി ഇയാളെ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
