കണ്ണൂർ : കൂത്തുപറമ്പിൽ ബസും സ്കൂട്ടറും കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചുണ്ടായ അപകടത്തിൽ ഒരാൾ മരിച്ചു. സ്കൂട്ടർ യാത്രികനായ ആയിത്തര മിന്നിപ്പീടികയിലെ കുറ്റ്യന്‍റവിട ഹൗസിൽ എം. മനോഹരൻ (62) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്
രാവിലെ 8.20 ഓടെ കണ്ടംകുന്ന് പെട്രോൾ പമ്പിന് സമീപമാണ് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. കൂത്തുപറമ്പ് ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്നും ഇരിട്ടി ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്ന സ്വകാര്യ ബസും എതിർ ദിശയിലേക്ക് വരികയായിരുന്ന സ്കൂട്ടറുമാണ് കൂട്ടിയിടിച്ചത്.
സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തുവച്ചു തന്നെ മനോഹരൻ മരിച്ചു. ഭാര്യ: പരേതയായ വസന്ത. മക്കൾ: മഹേഷ് (മിലിട്ടറി), മഞ്ജുഷ. മരുമക്കൾ: മോഹനൻ, ജൂന. സംസ്കാരം പിന്നീട്.
