നവരാത്രി ആഘോഷങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി (പൂജവയ്പ്പ്) സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ സർക്കാർ, അർധസർക്കാർ, പൊതുമേഖലാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കും നെഗോഷ്യബിൾ ഇൻസ്ട്രുമെന്റ് ആക്ട് പ്രകാരം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രഫഷണൽ കോളേജുകൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള എല്ലാ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്കും ദുർഗ്ഗാഷ്ടമി ദിനമായ സെപ്റ്റംബർ 30ന് പൊതു അവധി ആയിരിക്കും. പ്രസ്തുത ദിവസം നിയസഭാ സമ്മേളനം നടക്കുന്നതിനാൽ നിയമസഭയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ചുമതലയുള്ള ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്ക് അവധി ബാധകമല്ല.
